- רוֹפִיטוֹן m. (ῥοφητόν) (an egg) which can be gulped down, boiled down to the size of a pill. Y.Ned.VI, 39c bot., expl. טרומיטא; ῥοφητὸν ὠὸν a lightly boiled egg, S.Our w. is prob. to be read טרופּין (τρυπῶν) piercing, or טרופיטין (τρυπήτης) borer; v. טְרוֹמִיטָא).
